why "lichenthropy"?

1. i thought it was cool and a funny play on words

2. returning to the earth after death is something i think about intermittently when i consider my own mortality. the peacefulness of release and the concept of decomposition into something bigger than myself in a nonreligious way really speaks to me; lichenthropy implies that inevitably, everyone will return to their roots (literally) and become one with the lichen-- as is meant to be.

i used to draw myself in early high school with plant limbs and often used plant imagery to process my emotions too. plants are sick!!

do you have a personality outside art and existentialism?

geez. sort of (not really); i enjoy alternative music, video games, thrifting / scavenging, and exploring nature, among other things. this still falls under art, but i'm working on a fursuit currently.

eventually i want to get into bone and crystal collecting, and maybe taxidermy!!
